Remove (almost) any hot glue

use cold spray to let it break off easier
none of the connectors would fall off easily, except maybe the keyboard connector

Removed hot glue

Remove the masking tape and replace with Kapton

Remove the glass, clean it and use some silicone to glue it back in. Take care to use a minimum amount of silicone, otherwise it will pour out and be visible in the window.
