Adding Gates To A Circuit
1. Open CEDAR logic.
2. When the program opens, your screen should look similar to this:
3. Place your cursor over the 3-input XOR gate in the gate palette so that a blue square appears around the gate shape.
Notice that a tool tip appears over the gate that is selected telling you the name of the gate.
4. Hold the left mouse button down and drag the gate shape onto the gate canvas.
5. Release the mouse button when the gate is at the desired location. When you left click anywhere on the canvas or drag another gate onto the canvas, the gate will become unselected.
7. To scroll through different gate libraries, simply click on the gate library name whose gates you wish access and the gates in that library will appear in the gate palette.
6. Place the following gate, switches, and TO/FROMs onto the gate canvas so that they are in the same relative positions as the ones in the picture below.
