Installers Ctrlr-5.3.198.dmg (for macOS) and Ctrlr-5.3.201.exe (for Windows) can be found here:

Install for macOS: open the Ctrlr dmg, then drag Ctrlr.app to the /Applications folder

• to use the VST3 version (CtrlrX 5.6.x only), drag CtrlrX.vst3 into /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3
• to use the VST version, drag Ctrlr.vst into /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST
• to use the AU version, drag Ctrlr.component into /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components

Note: if CtrlrX.vst3 gets a macOS security error and won't open (e.g. in Ableton Live), run the following command in macOS Terminal (in Applications / Utilities) to authorize it:

sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/CtrlrX.vst3

Likewise for CtrlrX.vst, run the following command:

sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/CtrlrX.vst

Might be easiest to run these commands before opening Ableton Live, to avoid having to force a rescan in Live.
