Table Statistics - syd711/vpin-studio GitHub Wiki

The term "frontend" in this section is used for PinUP Popper or PinballX.

The Table Statistics view gathers play statistics from your frontend's own database and from the VPin Studio's highscore history, so you can see which tables actually get played.

Table Statistics

Where the Data Comes From

  • PinUP Popper: read directly from Popper's own GamesStats table.
  • PinballX: parsed from Databases/Statistics.ini in the PinballX installation folder.
  • PinballY: parsed from PinballY's own statistics format.

Overview

The dashboard shows four ranked lists - Most Played, Time Played, Recorded Scores and Last Played (the last 20 tables played, with date and time) - plus summary tiles for total time played, total games played, total scores, total highscores and average time played per week. Use the emulator dropdown to restrict the view to a single emulator.

Per-Table Statistics

Every table also shows its own statistics tile in the Table Data Manager: total times played, total time played and the number of recorded scores. From there you can:

  • Edit the statistics manually - useful to correct the numbers after importing a table that already had play history.
  • Delete statistics selectively (number of plays and/or time played), either for a single table or, from the main dashboard, for a whole emulator at once. Deleting statistics requires an explicit confirmation checkbox, since the action cannot be undone.
