Below are the mockups for the term project.

Annotations

Users will be able to highlight or annotate a word, a sentence, or a paragraph.

Annotation provides making comments, express their opinions interactively.

Via annotation, people relate to each other and share information. Old systems provided public or limited usage of annotations.

Users can engage in content, engage with other users and discover things.

Spaces

Space section shows the spaces allocated for specific topic or interest.

Users will be able to recommended based on their interest.

My Account

When a user access their profile page, they will be able to see below;

User Badges: The user badges will be visible on profile page. Badges will be awarded according to pre-defined criteria. Example: If a user commented more than 100 times, user will get a badge called "Comment Shark".

Total Posts: Total contribution a user made to will be visible. Could be a parameter for becoming a moderator.

Recommended Posts: Recommended posts displays posts that user might be interested according to latest post user visited.

Latest Posts: Latest posts show the last 3 posts that that user shared recently.

Most Commented Posts: Most Commented Posts shows the 3 most discussed post the user has posted.

Posts: User will be able to see the all the posts on their profiles.

Search

Search Functionality: The system should give users the ability to search for content using keywords related to posts, spaces, post tags and annotations. This feature will enable users to quickly find the post or space they need.

Post Recommendations: The system shall have the capability to recommend relevant posts to users. This feature will help users discover new content and will end up the system become more engaging.

Space Recommendations: In addition to post recommendations, the system shall also recommend relevant spaces to users based on their user profiles. This feature will help users find communities of people with similar interests.

Friends

Friends Recommendations: The system shall be able to recommend similar profiles to users so that they may become contacts and follow their posts.
