Sprint 1

Pitch — 06/08/2026

Version 1

University students often struggle to find reliable study materials and academic support when they face difficult subjects. Resources are usually scattered across chats, cloud folders, informal groups, and different platforms, making them difficult to find and organize.

StudyBank is a web platform designed for the Universidad EAFIT community that centralizes study materials and connects students with tutors.

Through the platform, registered users can share academic resources, search for materials, and access tutoring support according to the subject they need. Students can also register as tutors, select the subjects they are able to teach, and appear in tutor searches once their profiles have been approved.

StudyBank offers value by reducing the time students spend searching for academic resources, promoting collaborative learning, and making academic support more accessible within the university community.

StudyBank seeks to create a trusted academic support space where students can share knowledge, find useful resources, and receive help from other members of their university community.

Version 2

Good morning. We're StudyBank.

University students lose time searching for reliable study materials and tutors, because resources are scattered across WhatsApp groups, shared folders, and different platforms.

StudyBank centralizes that: a web platform for the EAFIT community where students upload and search for study materials, and register as tutors indicating which subjects they teach. Tutor profiles go through approval before appearing in search results, to keep trust within the platform.

We already have a working MVP: EAFIT users can upload materials and search for tutors quickly and intuitively.

Our value: less time spent searching for resources, easier access to academic support, and collaborative learning among students.

We're looking for EAFIT student volunteers to try out the platform and give us feedback before the next sprint.
