A deep link is a webpage link from one website to another website that bypasses the second website�s homepage and goes straight to an internal page on the second website. According to Adjust�s Mobile Marketing Glossary, the purpose of a deep link is to send users directly to specific locations on the second website instead of sending them to the website�s homepage which allows for more efficient web-browsing. The implication of a deep link is that the owner of the second website does not get the benefit of advertising his or her website�s homepage to users who click on the deep link.�
