Credit vs. Credit Worthiness - sustany/dvg GitHub Wiki

Credit is the (inherent) ability of a person to borrow, and distinct from external attribution such as as credit worthiness (i.e. 'credit rating' or 'credit score'). The latter is largely an externality of current and legacy network topologies which classify Personas by means of surveillance (financial and otherwise), creating Profiles. While legacy financial systems often conflate the terms 'credit' and 'loan', financial institutions (legally) do not extend 'credit' they enable (flexible) loans, based on the assessment of the individuals ability to repay the loan.
