CALI stands for the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction. CALI is a�non-profit, 501(c)(3) consortium of most of the law schools in the United States, which creates educational resources available to registered law students.�

CALI is best known for bestowing awards upon the highest performing member(s) in any given class. Recognition of these awards has led to the adoption of the phrase �CALI�d a class� to mean �topped a class.� More information about CALI can be found at their�website; cali.org.
