Getting started with CineSync is quick and straightforward. With its intuitive configuration file, you can set up folder paths, naming conventions, and organizational rules with ease.

When using direct mounts for media files with debrid services, tools like NFS and rclone often do not support inotify. This limitation requires additional tools, such as autoscan, or frequent manual scans in Jellyfin for new media to appear in your library. CineSync resolves this issue with its Real-Time Monitoring (RTM) feature.
By creating symbolic links (symlinks) for all media files, CineSync makes the files appear as part of the local filesystem. This allows Jellyfin's RTM feature to automatically detect and update the library with new files seamlessly.

CineSync now enables Instant Real-Time Updates for Plex, ensuring that your library is automatically updated as soon as new media files are created.
