v1 darwin How to setup a Mackie Control Device in Logic Pro for recording - sungeunchoi-kr/muse-app-wiki GitHub Wiki
1. Open Logic Pro and select the Logic Pro menu at the top left of the desktop. Under the Logic Pro menu, select Control Surfaces, and then Setup
2. On the Control Surface Setup page, select "New" and then "Install"
3. On the "Install" list scroll down and select Mackie Control (MCU Pro) and then click "add"
4. Select the Mackie Control device you just created, and set the Output port to "All" and the Input port to "Muse DAW Controller." If you are unable to change the Output port to "All", the default value should still work.
5. After that just make sure key repeat is NOT enabled on the global commands. Open Logic Pro menu, select "Key Commands" and then "Edit"
6. On the key commands menu under "Global Commands" select "Record" and then in the bottom right under "Assignments" double click the MCU Pro in the list.
7. In the "Controller Assignments" menu make sure Key Repeat is checked OFF at the bottom right of the screen.
8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 for "Stop" instead of "Record"
