How to Record Audio Into Your DAW (MAC ONLY) - sungeunchoi-kr/muse-app-wiki GitHub Wiki
By default, Muse saves recorded audio to a file on your computer. You can change recording settings and enable real-time DAW recording in Recording Settings
Additional setup is required before you can record audio directly into your DAW. We recommend you follow our Audio Recording Tutorial or you can follow the tutorial below.
1. Create a Mackie Control Surface device in your DAW
Set Muse DAW Controller as the input for the control surface, and enable the device to be used in your DAW. Once properly setup, Muse will use this device to start the recording process in your DAW when you start recording on Muse.
NOTE: If you're using a DAW that has key-repeat enabled, make sure key-repeat is DISABLED for Record and Stop when recording with Muse. See how at 2:55 in our Audio Recording Tutorial
2. Set Muse Recording as the Input in your DAW (if recording someone else)
If you are recording audio from Muse into your DAW, you'll need to set the Muse Recording device as the input in your DAW. Audio from Muse will pass through Muse Recording. If you are the one being recorded, you can skip this step.
NOTE: It will take a few seconds before audio begins playing from Muse Recording. Learn more by watching the Example Workflow
3. Configure your Recording Settings in Muse
The recording settings in Muse should match the project settings in your DAW so Muse can compensate for additional latency.
