Echo Cancellation and Auto Mute (needs image) - sungeunchoi-kr/muse-app-wiki GitHub Wiki
We're excited to introduce 2 major updates to Muse 2.1.14.
- Echo cancellation - your audio won't play back from your collaborator's talkback microphone
- Automute - when enabled, your input will be muted only while you stream Pro Audio.
What this means:
- A combination of echo cancellation and automute means that headphones are no longer required even on Pro Audio.
- There will be a new automute button ("A") next to your devices. When toggled on, the mute button on the device will glow yellow while pro audio is playing.
- Note: Only the device with auto mute enabled will be muted.
- Note: Only Pro Audio triggers the auto mute. Standard HQ will not.
- The image above shows an example of sharing Pro Audio from your computer while Automute is enabled on your talkback mic (Macbook Pro Microphone). Your collaborators will not hear your talkback mic until you stop playing audio from your computer.
- If you want to adjust the attack, release, and threshold of your Automute, you can do so in Muse's audio settings.
