Packet Tracer RIP Lab - sullivaneg/TechJournal-NET150 GitHub Wiki

In this lab I used the static route starter file for packet tracer and assigned RIP v.2 routes to them and watched how RIP works. In this lab I learned about RIP and learned that basically each router shares their entire table with each other so routers without direct connections to each other can send packets to other networks. I didn't run into any significant problems with this lab. Some important commands to include would be show ip route which we have learned before but from the command line of the router you can see their routing table using show ip route. Another would be router rip which allows you to configure the router. Then you say version 2 to change RIP to version 2. Then you can add networks by saying Network .
