Utilities

There are a number of useful NextPVR and PVR related software utilities which are not part of the standard distribution. They are made available for download here as and when you need them.

  • Comskip... Automatically skip commercials when playing recordings.
  • Cut Chuck ... Cut a segment from a video file.
  • Filter Check ... Create report on tuner devices and drivers.
  • NextEnd ... Automatically extend a recording for a sport or other event that overruns its timeslot.
  • NextTool ... CLI tool to import recordings and and manage NextPVR media
  • NextTVPI ... Create recordings from tvpi files (eg Titan TV).
  • NScriptHelper ... Pass commands to NextPVR Server from a batch file or command prompt.
  • WindowsDesktopGadget ... Shows NextPVR status and other info.
  • UK Channel Icons ... Download a collection of Icons for UK TV and radio channels.
