NET 150: Networking Fundamentals - squatchulator/Tech-Journal GitHub Wiki
What was this class about?
NET-150 Networking Fundamentals was a class where we were introduced to concepts of networking through programs like Wireshark and Packet Tracer. The majority of the class was taught via weekly labs in which we would either be required to build upon a certain networking concept, or solve some sort of networking problem.
What did I learn from this class?
I would credit this class as the one to really spark my interest in computer networking. I had a great teacher who explained things very well and assigned challenging labs that pushed me to do research beyond what I'd have done otherwise. I felt by the end of the class that I had a strong foundation on networking concepts such as protocols, what they do, how data gets from one place to another, and why certain components of a network are necessary.
