Milestone 11: FOG

  • Create a new Ubuntu VM using an Ubuntu Server minimal 23.04 ISO. This is so we can run the prep script from Milestone 4 with minimum compatibility issues. Give it the following specs, boot it, connect the ISO, and continue with the installer.
  • During the install, install OpenSSH Server and disable IPv6 in networking
  • Run the prep script once the install has completed:
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gmcyber/RangeControl/main/src/scripts/base-vms/ubuntu-server.sh
sudo sh ubuntu-server.sh
  • Now put this one in the PROD folder - use 480utils to create a new linked clone of this VM named FOG.
