DNS Manager

  • The reverse DNS entry for firewall and active directory should both be in the reverse lookup zone Create Named Domain Users on ad01
  • Anytime a new system needs to join the domain it needs to refer to the domain's DNS server.

After the workstation has joined the domain, you need to make sure you login to the system using your regular domain credentials and not -adm. Make sure you are signing into your domain and not into the local workstation as well.
