General description

NIAID’s TB Portals Program (TBPP) is an international cooperative initiative focused on sharing and analyzing tuberculosis (TB) data to propel TB research forward. This global network, consisting of clinicians, researchers, and IT experts from 50 locations across 18 countries in Eastern Europe, Asia, and sub-Saharan Africa, operates as a freely accessible online database that provides a comprehensive collection of multidisciplinary TB data and analytical tools.

Researchers can find linked clinical, genomic, laboratory, radiological, and socioeconomic/geographic data from over 8,000 internationally published TB patient cases, emphasizing drug-resistant tuberculosis.

TBPP is focused on advancing TB research through open-access, multi-domain, global TB data, and tools, thus making available TB data to stimulate new research and explore new avenues for medical care.
