General description
The limited datasets known as STAR (Standard Transplant Analysis and Research) files include patient-level data on transplant recipients, deceased and live donors, and waiting list candidates going as far back as October 1, 1987. The OPTN Data Request page on the OPTN website or UNetSM for OPTN Members may be used to request STAR files, which are updated every three months.
