General description

The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) focuses on providing academic and industry investigators with well-characterized cell sources (fibroblasts and/or induced pluripotent stem cells for Alzheimer's Disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Ataxia-telangiectasia, Frontotemporal Lobar Degeneration (FTD), Huntington's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, and healthy controls) to advance the study of neurological disorders.

The NINDS Human Cell and Data Repository (NHCDR) provides access to fibroblast and/or induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) lines for multiple neurological disorders within the NINDS mission and healthy controls. NHCDR also supports access to unique iPSC collections from LEFFTDS, NeuroLINCS, PDBP, and Target ALS with associated metadata.
