General description

The National Institute of Mental Health Data Archive (NDA) was founded by integrating multiple data repositories to accelerate scientific discovery and research through data harmonization, data sharing, and reporting research results.

The repositories currently supported by the NIMH Data Archive (NDA) include:

• The NIAAA Data Archive (NIAAA DA),
• The Osteoarthritis Initiative (OAI),
• The Connectome Coordination Facility (CCF) and
• The Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development Study (ABCD)

The NDA was created to support research on autism, but it has since evolved to enable data sharing amongst the mental health and other research communities as well. Data from all of these repositories are now available as a single resource, with a single procedure for accessing all shared data.
