General description
The National Addiction & HIV Data Archive Program (NAHDAP) is a NIDA-funded data archive program conceived to promote research on drug addiction and HIV infection through the acquisition, dissemination, enhancement, and preservation of data pertinent to drug addiction and HIV research.
With a staff of data archivists, professional researchers, and technicians working together, NAHDAP supports secondary data analysis through specialized training for data depositors and data users in drug addiction and HIV research and policy communities and technical assistance. Furthermore, NAHDAP allows scholars to analyze existing data on significant social and behavioral sciences and public policy issues. NAHDAP has made over 500 studies available since its launch in 2009.
