General description
The Lung Cancer Screening Demonstration Project (LCSDP) Cohort contains information about patients who participated in the LCSDP. The VHA implemented the three-year LCSDP to understand the feasibility and implications of programmatic lung cancer screening (LCS) with low-dose computed tomography (LDCT).
The dataset contains information about the eight participating VA facilities in the demonstration project, and the 2,106 patients who completed their first LDCT scan between July 1, 2013, and June 30, 2015.
