IQVIA Medical Research Data (IMRD) are anonymized electronic patient health records gathered from UK GP clinical systems. Data from The Health Improvement Network (THIN), a Cegedim database licensed by IQVIA, and data from practices utilizing Egton Medical Information System (EMIS) Health are presently included in the IQVIA Medical Research Data and contributing to IQVIA's Medical Research Extraction Scheme. The information is gathered from GPs and other members of the practice's staff who keep daily records[1].
