General description
The Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) is a multinational consortium of over 750 academic institutions and research organizations. ICPSR offers leadership and training in data access, curation, and analysis methods for the social science research community.
ICPSR oversees a data archive of over 250,000 research files in the social and behavioral sciences and is home to 21 specialty data collections in areas like aging, criminal justice, education, substance abuse, and terrorism.
Furthermore, ICPSR advances and expands social and behavioral research, making it a global leader in data stewardship and providing rich data resources for present and future generations. Research funded by ICPSR focuses on the new difficulties in data science and digital curation.
