HFA DB - sporedata/researchdesigneR GitHub Wiki

General description

Since the mid-1980s, Member States from the WHO European Region have contributed vital health-related statistics to the European Health for All database (HFA-DB), a collection of databases. The HFA-DB, being among the WHO's earliest data sources based on reported information, consolidates indicators critical for major regional monitoring frameworks such as Health 2020 and the Sustainable Development Goals. These indicators span various areas including demographics, health statuses, determinants and risk factors of health, as well as health care resources and spending.

The HFA databases provide insights into indicators and metadata on a regional, national, and sometimes subnational level, all of which can be explored through the interactive Health for All explorer online tools. Users have the ability to export or share data, metadata, charts, and maps via the internet and social media platforms.
