General description

The Cohort of Swedish Men (COSM) is a long-term health study established in 1997 to investigate the impact of diet, lifestyle, and other factors on the health of Swedish men. The study includes detailed data on dietary habits, physical activity, and other lifestyle behaviors collected from a large cohort of men aged 45-79 years at the time of enrollment.

The COSM dataset is crucial for understanding the role of lifestyle choices in the prevention of chronic diseases, including cancer and cardiovascular conditions, and supports extensive research into the determinants of men's health.
