General description
The California Independent Medical Review Dataset (CIMRD) is derived from the California Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC) and contains all of the decisions from Independent Medical Reviews (IMR) (an independent review of a delayed, denied, or modified health care service that has been determined by the health plan to be experimental/investigational, non-emergent/urgent, or not medically necessary) administered by the DMHC since January 1, 2001.
