General description

The Cancer Epidemiology Descriptive Cohort Database (CEDCD) is designed to facilitate collaboration and highlight opportunities for research within existing cohort studies. As a searchable database, CEDCD contains:

• Biospecimen information
• Cancer sites
• General study information (e.g., eligibility criteria and size)
• The number of participants diagnosed with cancer and
• The type of data collected at baseline

CEDCD contains comprehensive information about cohort studies that follow groups of persons over time for cancer incidence, mortality, and other health outcomes. This database has no individual-level data (all data included are aggregated for each cohort).
