General description
The Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW) is a dataset of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), which provides a repeatable and large scale data warehouse for business management, clinical and administrative research, and healthcare system innovation.
Construct: Housebound status, transportation needs, suicide risk, marital status, education, VA-specific codes for services to address a social need, income source, occupation, third-party insurance coverage, VA service connectedness (in percent), combat or agent orange or military sexual trauma exposures during the service, service-connected disability, and income source.
Limitations
- Information on tobacco and alcohol use, as well as vital status information, are not available.
- Contains limited information related to social determinants of health (SDOH).
