General description
The Agenzia Regionale di Sanità della Toscana - ARS is the technical and scientific consultant agency to the regional council and government of Tuscany, Italy. The ARS provides scientific support for public healthcare activities by producing studies on population health status and healthcare services in Tuscany.
Variable categories
- Hospital discharge records - primary discharge diagnosis, date of admission, discharge date, status at discharge (including death), up to six diagnostic and medical/surgical procedures during the hospital stay, and up to five ancillary and secondary diagnoses.
- Registry of inhabitants - date of birth, date of death, date of exit (if the person moves away from Tuscany), date of registration, primary care physician's identifiers, citizenship, and address.
