General description

The Alzheimer’s Disease Data Initiative (AD Data Initiative or ADDI) is a cloud-based platform for data contributors to manage and share their human or human-derived Alzheimer’s and related dementia data.

ADDI is a coalition of leading academic, advocacy, government, industry, and philanthropy organizations that recognizes the need for dementia researchers to find easier ways to share analytical tools, scientific findings, and unpublished data. These partners work together to accelerate progress toward new diagnostics, treatments, and cures for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD).

Some of the platform’s key features are that it is accessible to data contributors, is secure with clearly outlined privacy policies and terms of use, and allows for configurable data access and request forms with flexible data-sharing options and visibility into data usage via audit trail.
