📦 SproutScape Pipeline

This page describes the development pipeline for SproutScape. Here, you will find the workflow and guidelines we use to ensure a streamlined development process.


🔄 Pipeline Overview

The development pipeline consists of the following phases:

  1. Concept & Design – Gathering ideas and creating the functional & technical design.
  2. Asset Creation – Developing models, textures, animations, and other assets.
  3. Implementation – Writing and integrating code into the game engine.
  4. Testing & Iteration – Fixing bugs and improving gameplay.
  5. Release & Maintenance – Launching the game and managing updates.

🎭 Roles

Role Name Description
Scrum Master Colin, Reserve: Bas Planning, keeping track of Trello, and leading stand-up and stand-down meetings.
Product Owner Bas, Reserve: Nick Communicating with the client.
Note Taker Osa Taking notes during meetings, daily SCRUM, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
Dev Lead Nick, Reserve: Bas Checking code for conventions and monitoring development progress.
Art Lead Yentl, Reserve: Milan Ensuring art follows conventions and monitoring artists' progress.

💬 Communication

We use Discord for internal communication to discuss any team or project-related matters, and to do Stand-Up's and Stand-Down's
