Ben Sharrer's Work Report - spatial-data-discovery/sdd-2021 GitHub Wiki

2021-09-14 | Second Full Week of Classes

Summary 1

  • Sustainable authorship reading
  • Collaborative research reading
  • First discussion on both readings
  • About me page
  • Started work report page

Overview

  1. Readings + Discussion

From the readings and discussion (for which I was the scribe), we learned that some key words that describe "Sustainable authorship" are: Reproducible, collaborative, effectively communicative, and durable. We also discussed different file types that relate back to txt files such as JSON, CSV, and INI.

  2. About Me page

I created my about me page on gitHub (as opposed to pushing from terminal). I am not sure if my image will load, as it was a link to an image in google drive, and did not end in .png or a similar file type.

  3. Class 9/13

We did not have in person class 9/13, so I used the time to start my worklog.
