The OneChunkClan In-Game Clan Chat

The OneChunkClan is the in-game clan chat that a lot of chunkers hang out in. To join the chat as a guest, go to the Guest Clan tab in-game and type 'OneChunkClan' to join. To join the chat as a full member, ask a mod in the chat to join once your Chunk Picker map is 14 days old.

Clan Rules & Guidelines

  • No bigotry or hatred of any kind (racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, etc.). This includes both direct hate as well as dogwhistles and slurs.
  • Playful chatting or teasing, and well-meaning discussions are both allowed. However, conversations that get too suggestive/sexual in nature, or discussions that turn into arguments are not allowed.
  • Keep political discussion to a minimum.
  • Avoid spoiling newly released content.
  • Keep the chat to English-only, so that the moderators can do their job.

If another clan member asks you to stop a line of discussion because it makes them uncomfortable, please respect their wishes and stop. If you continue to repeatedly make other clanmates uncomfortable, or break any of the above stated rules, your account will be kicked from clan, which will be made permanent depending on the action.

If someone in the clan chat is breaking any of the clan rules or making you or another clanmate uncomfortable, please message any of the mods in-game, or whitecatblack (Source Chunk) on Discord.

Joining the Clan

To join the clan as a permanent member, firstly be sure that you've read and understood the clan rules (listed above on this page). Once you've read the rules, if you are a chunk account or chunk-based account, and your Chunk Picker V2 map is 14 days old (how do I check my map age?), ask a mod in the clan chat if you can join.

As of April 20th, 2025, there is a new system for joining the clan, since there's consistently more people wanting to join than available spots. This new system is called the Joining Pools.

What are the Joining Pools?

The Joining Pools are our way of creating a queue-like system so that those that try to join the clan have a better chance of joining the longer they've been trying to. It works by using two pools of players: the Waiting Pool (players newly trying to join) and the Priority Pool (players who have been trying to join for multiple weeks).

If you're a new player wanting to join the clan, and you meet the requirements to join (14 day old chunk picker map), ask a mod in the chat to join and they'll place you in the Waiting Pool, where you can wait for your turn to join the clan. Every two weeks, everyone in the Waiting Pool is upgraded to the Priority Pool. If you're in the Priority Pool, you can ask a mod to join the clan at any time, as long as there is a free slot open.

To check the current Priority Pool and Waiting Pool lists, or to see when the next Inactivity Kick or Upgrade Day is, check out the Joining Pools Dashboard.

The Inactivity Kick and Upgrade event are done whenever the mods have time to do so and at their own discretion. DO NOT ask why you haven't been upgraded yet on an Upgrade Day, the mods will get to it when they have time to.

Clan Ranks

The ranks in the clan are purely cosmetic, and don't provide any additional power or abilities (besides the moderator ranks). The cosmetic ranks are based on how long someone has been in the clan since joining (this progress is wiped if you ever leave and then later rejoin the clan).

Clan Ranks Progression Chart

All of the gem ranks in the clan are standard chunk accounts, with a variety of rules, but that generally follow the normal process of completing tasks in a chunk and then rolling a new chunk. All scimitar ranks in the clan are non-standard chunk accounts of some kind. These are accounts that are chunk-based in some way, but depart from the standard gamemode in a large way of some kind. Examples include accounts that roll a new chunk after every new collection log slot obtained, accounts that roll a new chunk after 1 hour of in-game time, accounts that play as a group ironman with others while also being chunk-locked, accounts that are a crossover between tile accounts and chunk accounts or bronzemanmode and chunk accounts, and plenty more.

The current moderators of the clanchat are:

  • Source Chunk (Owner)
  • blast f0rce (Deputy Owner)
  • ch1pchunk/punishedCh1p (Moderator)
  • ChunkiCinni (Moderator)
  • huge chunks (Moderator)
  • kywenChunk (Moderator, inactive)

A list of all clan members and their respective mapcodes (as well as a bunch of others not in the clan) can be found at /?maps-list.

Clan Inactivity Kick

Recently, the clan has been very short on available space for new members, usually hovering around or at 500/500 members. To make room for new people to join, every 2 weeks the clan kicks up to 25 inactive members from the clan. If there are more than 25 inactive clan members eligible to be kicked on any given kick event, only the most inactive 25 are kicked.

Inactivity is determined through a combination of the WiseOldMan xp tracker website and the in-game clan interface Last Seen data point. If a clanmate has gained 0 xp for a number of days, and isn't shown in the Last Seen clan interface more recently, then they are eligible to be kicked at the next inactivity kick event. This time period of consecutive number of days without gaining xp is based on clan rank, and can be seen in the table below:

Rank Inactive Length
Opal 30 days
Sapphire 45 days
Emerald 60 days
Ruby 60 days
Diamond 60 days
Dragonstone 60 days
Onyx 60 days
Zenyte 60 days
Squire 45 days
Inquisitor 60 days
Expert 60 days
Paladin 60 days
Adventurer 60 days

These inactive lengths are subject to change if the moderator team deems it necessary. However, if any xp is gained every 30 days at minimum, you are almost certainly safe from becoming inactive.

If you do get inactivity kicked at any time, you are more than welcome to rejoin the clan whenever you're actively playing again, with the only downside being that your clan rank will be reset.

Clan Highscores/WiseOldMan

The clan keeps track of progress and highscores through the use of our WiseOldMan Group page. Here we track the progress of every clan member, which is updated approximately once a day. If you'd like your stats to updated much more accurately, turn on the Xp Updater default Runelite plugin and configure it for Wise Old Man.
