Chunk Info

The Chunk Info panel is a panel that displays information on a specific chunk, including the name & ID of the chunk, as well as all of its notable contents. It is a powerful tool for investigating potential future chunks, for planning purposes or just curiosity.

The Chunk Info panel can be opened by right-clicking any chunk on the map. The panel opens on the left side of the screen, and can be interacted with by opening each of the various information tabs.

If the panel is open, it can be closed by right-clicking the same chunk again, or by clicking the 'x' in the corner of the panel. The panel can also be completely hidden/disabled via the Settings window.

The information tabs in the panel currently consist of:

  • Monsters
    • A list of attackable npcs and their quantities within the chunk.
  • NPCs
    • A list of notable non-attackable npcs and their quantities within the chunk.
  • Item spawns
    • A list of item spawns and their quantities within the chunk. Does not include items that are obtained via searching a crate or pulled from a stump or etc. (must be a red dot on the minimap).
  • Shops
    • A list of shops within the chunk.
  • Features
    • A list of notable game objects and their quantities within the chunk. Includes most left-click interactable objects, as well as other objects that can be interacted with in some way (like a well or a fire).
  • Quest progression
    • A list of quests that have steps within the chunk. Only includes explicit steps of a quest, not just quests that you must travel through the chunk to do. Quests in bold indicate that that quest starts within the chunk, and quests not in bold indicate that the quest just has a step within the chunk.
    • Clicking the 'i' icon next to a quest will open the Quest Info panel for that quest.
  • Clue steps
    • A count of the number of clues doable in the chunk, separated by clue tier. These counts do not take into account if the clue step is doable yet, since it is only a count of how many are in the chunk.
  • Connected areas
    • A list of non-overworld areas that are connected to the chunk. Examples include dungeons, caves, basements, runecraft altars, etc.
    • Clicking one of the areas will switch the Chunk Info panel to instead be info about the just-clicked area. The Chunk Info panel for this area can be explored similarly to any other chunk.
  • Potential chunk tasks
    • Opening this tab will calculate what chunk tasks you'd receive if you unlocked this chunk. This calculation will take into account chunk sections of the new chunk based on your current chunks (if applicable). If not connected to your current chunks, it will assume you have access to the entire chunk.
    • Clicking the 'i' icon next to one of the tasks will open the Task Details window for that task.
    • Clicking the 'expand' icon next to the tab header will expand the list of tasks into a bigger window.
