SPUM 170 version introducing English version - soonsoon2/SPUM GitHub Wiki
This page introduces the updates for SPUM version 170.
SPUM Manager Update
There have been many changes to the SPUM Manager system.
** In most cases, you can resolve the issue by re-importing the SPUM Manager. **
β
0) Added clean install feature
- This update has changed a lot in SPUM's file structure, prefab system, etc. So if you are updating to version 170 or doing a new install, you may see the following clean install pop-up. If possible, please install through a clean install.
β If you add a package or have a problem while using it, select the Steam Manager object and click Regenerate data & Load Package at the bottom to properly connect the data again.
If the debug message below is printed in the bottom console window, it has been loaded properly.
β
1) Added animation state editor features
β The main UI of SPUM Manager has been slightly changed. The most important part is that Animation State / Animation Preset has been added at the bottom.
β If you select Add New Clip, you can select the clips that can be added as shown below.
The clips selected by Select are added to the corresponding state, so you can control the animation of each unit by adding your own animation clips according to the state.
β
β
2) Added animation preset feature
(This is not working properly in some environments and will be patched.)
βOnce you've created an animation for a specific unit or class, you can save it as a "Preset".
β You can create a preset with a new name by pressing the Add button.
Here, you can give it a custom name by pressing the Rename button (the small blue button).
You must press Enter to save this name.
β
Clicking the green check button will apply the preset.
This feature allows you to apply the same animation presets to other units.
β
β
β
3) Changed prefab import functionality
βThe design of the import prefab window has been changed.
The existing scrolling method has been changed to a page format, which has solved the problem of stuttering when there are many units.
4) Ability to convert prefabs and apply presets
β- If you load a prefab that does not match the version, a convert menu like the one below will appear.
β
- You can check the detailed menu for converting as below.
β
If converted correctly, it will appear as shown below.
β
5) Convert multiple units or apply presets
By pressing Batch Process Mode at the bottom, you can select units, select all and convert all, or apply presets.
Then, you can see that it has been applied as shown below.
(It may take some time depending on the device specifications.)

Add-on System Update
The add-on system of SPUM has changed. The existing package system has been deleted and changed to a resource system.
If the add-on is added correctly, it will have the following folder structure.
β
If you want to create your own add-on, you can use the Steam menu at the top.
β
With this feature, you can also create and export your own add-ons.
