About SPUM

SPUM (Sunsoon Pixel Unit Maker) is a character generator set that helps developers develop Unity-based games to create 2D pixel-design characters.

SPUM’s character creation function is only available in Unity Editor. (This may be updated in the future. )

The types of saved characters that can be created through SPUM are Unity Prefab, Sprite Sheet Image, and Gif Playback Image.

PURCHASE

SPUM is currently being produced and sold exclusively for Unity Asset. Officially available only through the Unity Asset Store.

License

1. About SPUM Paid Licenses

Resources created using the SPUM paid version are available for commercial use.

However, currently, the SPUM is exclusively for Unity Editor and cannot be used outside of the fields defined by Unity EULA, as well as game projects using Unity. (Explore Standard Unity Asset Store EULA)

In addition, a separate license agreement must be entered into for use.

Free Version

1. Before we go any further

The free version of SPUM is distributed to individual users/students/amateur developers for the SPUM experience. [Explore free SPUM licenses]

2. Download the free version of SPUM and build your environment

  1. Access the link below for downloading the free version of SPUM.

  1. Click ‘SPUM_1.0.2._Free.unitypackage’ to download.

  1. Drag & Drop the downloaded ‘SPUM_1.0.2._Free.unitypackage’ into the Unity project. Then click ‘Import’ to add the file.

  1. Double-click and run ‘SPUM_Scene’ in the [Asset->SPUM->Scene] path.

  1. Select ‘SPUM_Manager’ inside Hierarchy of ‘SPUM_Scene’.

  1. Click ‘Install Resources Data’ inside the Inspector to load the initial resource.

  1. When you run this scene, you can see that the free version of SPUM is functioning
