1898-1899 – Heroin was invented in 1874 a synth from Morphine, by a chemist S R Alder Wright in London. Marketed from 1898 by Bayer in Germany. 22 April 1915 – Germany broke the Hague convention when it used poison gas at the second battle of Ypres on 22 April 1915 at Bolimow on the eastern front. 1943-44 – A Porajmos, gypsy Roma were sent to Auschwtz by early spring 1943. Rudolf Hoss, the Auschwtz commander, opened a gypsy camp called Auschwtz II. By the time Hoss liquidated the gypsy Roma camp on 2 Aug 1944 about 21,000 out of 23,000 gypsy inmates had perished in Birkenams gas chambers. 1945 – Vyacheslav Erwandoviech Kevorkov, was a KGB agent in Germany and Belgium, Berlin 1945 he worked for SVAG, the Soviet military administration in Germany.
