Went live complete with filter board on 29/9/2018

I haven't soldered much for 30 years so I was very glad not to solder the SMD components. Most of the build was straightforward. You will need a very fine tipped soldering iron because there are a few places where you will be soldering very close to surface mount devices. I found the hardest part to be the final fitting of the 4:1 transformer (Top centre of photo with purple windings). The problem is that once wound the wires are short and hard to strip. Some modern wire-strippers for really fine wire would probably have helped me here. My outstanding challenge is the end-pieces for the case.
