Sprint Planning

Sprint Backlog (User Stories):

User Story #1: As a member of the younger demographic, I need a visually appealing website, which includes background images, a unique and consistent color scheme, well-organized and spaced posts/tweets so that I can have a simplistic experience when viewing and interacting with the social media website. In addition, when friends and followers are viewing my page, it looks visually intriguing and compelling.

User Story #2: As an egotistic person, I need an easy and appealing method to post images of my daily life, including pets, meals, sporting events, so that I can share my experiences with everyone I know, making them envious of my amazing and relaxing lifestyle.

User Story #3: As someone who loves keeping up to date with my friends' newest posts, I need a system which orders posts in chronological order by date and time, so that whenever I refresh my page it updates with the latest post, and I will never feel left out or unwanted again.

User Story #4: As a person who is interested in business opportunities including internships and full-time jobs, I need to have the ability to view a customized profile regarding information about each user, so that I can build new and everlasting relationships online, and hopefully gain the necessary skills and tools to significantly benefit my future. This involves creating sections, or tabs of information about each user.

User Story #5: As a highly narcissistic individual, I require the ability to comment on the website and leave suggestions, so that I can post an important opinion that is viewable by the developers. I also need this functionality in order to broadcast my ideas and advertise myself and be noticed for my work, as a public space to post messages.

User Story #6: User Story #6: As a person who often forgets their avatar/profile picture, and potentially the account their logged in as, I need a profile containing the correct email address linked to the account currently in use, the related profile picture, and a username, so that I can rest assured I am tweeting/commenting with the correct account.

User Story #10: As someone who wants to easily navigate the social media website, I need some kind of menu or navigation bar, that will escort you to a home page, your profile, or your alerts/messages, so I can keep up to date with everything pertaining to me, but also efficiently use my time on the site.

User Story #11: As a busy person, I need an efficient mechanism to access the top of a page to create a new post, or navigate to other areas of the sit, so that I will not have to scroll up through many posts to complete a simple task.

User Story #12: As a strong believer I am right, I need a comment function to post my opinions of other user's tweets and speak the truth, so users will be encouraged to post better content, that will meet my expectations to the imaginative and creative side of the Internet.

User Story #7: As a very social person, I need a messaging function, so that I can easily communicate with someone else quickly and efficiently while browsing the social media website. As the name suggests, this is a "social," media website, so having the ability to interact with other users will be essential in guaranteeing its overall success and ease of use.

User Story #8: As a private person, I need the ability for only certain people to view my profile, tweets, and photos, to maintain a life only known to those close to me, so that I can keep certain information known to only those in my inner circle, and not the general public.

User Story #9: As a news reporter, I need a "What's Trending," section to keep up to date with current events, so I can be punctual when reporting the news. This section would also inspire people to spread awareness about a certain topic, or make an issue increasingly more prevalent in multiple communities, as a form of social media, it's a success can be judged on its ability for information to spread effectively.
