Courses

On behalf of KTH, ITM offers courses in Swedish for employees, which are paid for by the division. Nevertheless, you should indicate the invoice reference of your supervisor when you sign up - after letting them know, of course. Courses normally get fully booked pretty quickly, so the sooner you apply, the better. Normally, lectures are from 4 to 6 PM once per week (one day on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). In June, the only active courses are the intensive ones, which are very effective but very time-consuming (2 hours per day from Monday to Thursday).

If you are asked for an invoice reference when applying, you can specify the one of your manager/supervisor even though the division covers the cost. Example: the invoice reference of an employee of EECS whose mail is [email protected] will be USERNAME KTHEECS.

Språkcafé

If you already speak a little Swedish, you can join the språkcafé (and get a free lunch). It is both on Campus (A2+ and B1+) and in Kista.
