Introduction

This section intends to guide the user on how to download Arctic Studio and Arctic Core and how to install them.

Download Arctic Studio and Arctic Core

In order to download Arctic Studio and Arctic Core, valid login credentials to MyARCCORE is needed. It will not be possible to access downloads without valid credentials. Have valid credentials not been received, please contact [email protected].

In order to use Arctic Studio version 6 to 13, Java Runtime Environment (JRE) must be installed. Note that you need a 32- or 64-bit JRE compatible with your system. Select an Arctic Studio version that corresponds to your chosen JRE.

For Arctic Studio versions 14 and higher, JRE is bundled in the installation and no action is needed by the user.

Download Arctic studio and Arctic Core from the Downloads section in MyARCCORE Unzip both Arctic Studio and Arctic Core (preferably in C:\devtools).

Note that the path to Arctic Studio may not contain any spaces!

Note that the Arctic Studio zip archive contains long path names that may not be handled correctly by the built-in unarchiver in Windows. To ensure a successful extraction, use 7-zip to extract the file.
