IT starts I believe with a choice that involves little awareness at the time. It is made when you first root a phone or do a few simple command prompt lines with success. It is the feeling that things are possible and learn-able. The technology that you have come to accept is actually just a crack of light into a world of opposites. A world where numbers become artwork and precision becomes grace, the one where being worn down is a part of the rush and knowing the answer is a curse. It is development at its core, it is curiosity and discipline combining to form a pathway of teaching and learning simultaneously. The pureness of that can diminish in time when the Feeling has shifted towards a functional plateau. In very few does it go on forever but always there remains a commitment to the user and to the principles of connecting people safely yet openly without personal bias or gain. The result has led to a time in history where we face questions of science, philosophy, and belief. The time that calls upon us to deliver answers that transcend mere gains financially or personal recognition. It is the time where our work must lead narrowly along a path of good, fair, yet realistic. We can not subscribe to anything to strongly as it will diminish our care for the whole. It is an honor to be working on three major releases with my company Belief Unleashed. It is a bigger honor to be standing at a time with Developers where we face the challenge of creating and guiding the thin blue line between corporate and user. They give the keys to the kingdom to the man who doesn't want to be king. Let us be wise and be fair. Lets be true to ourselves yet humble and never forget for a moment we were users once too.
