Welcome to the new_map wiki!

This wiki aims to help attendees of GIS Education Center's "Publishing Web Maps and Processing Spatial Data with JavaScript" get up and running on Windows 10, which is the preferred OS of choice for many San Francisco city employees.

Web development instructions for Windows can be quite difficult to follow, and many workshops are not setup for Windows users.

As a new Windows user (Windows Subsystem for Linux is pretty cool!) I would like to help.
