The goal of the Virtual Biology Laboratory is to provide students with software that will create an informative and uniform experiment on mitosis and other biology topics. The structure of the lab will be an optional demo on all of the stages of the processes, in both diagrams and actual images of cells, followed by a short quiz on the material. This software will also keep track of who has completed the lab and allow for the professor to see what grade each student has received. The professor will have the option of making the grade dependent on either the student completing the lab, the first score they receive, or their best score out of three tries. Students will be able to run this software on their computers, iPhones and iPads
