Setting up Gmail to send from your @jamhacks.ca email - sjamcsclub/documentation GitHub Wiki

The instructions below will set up your personal Gmail account to be able to send emails from your [yourname]@jamhacks.ca email. I don't know if it's possible on other email clients (Yahoo, Outlook, etc.), so make sure to use your Gmail account (or school account).

• Go to the gear menu -> Settings -> Accounts and Import.
• Under "Send mail as:" click "Add another email address".
• You should get a popup. Enter your @jamhacks email into the "Email address" box and click "Next Step".
• For SMTP Server, enter smtp.mailgun.org. Make sure the port is 587. Enter the username/password I sent you in DMs. Make sure that "Secured connection using TLS" is selected. Click "Add account".
• Make sure that on that settings page, also under "Send mail as", that the option "Reply from the same address the message was sent to" is selected.
• You should get an email with a confirmation code or something, make sure to do that as well.
