Known Issues

Downloading Complex Videos

Downloadyze can't download complex videos or streams and can't download videos from YouTube, so please use a dedicated video downloader instead. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Examples of videos Downloadyze can't download:

  • blob URLs
  • Videos that play in a canvas element
Managing Downloads

Downloadyze doesn't yet have a fully featured UI that allows you to view and manage your current downloads, but this feature is being developed and will be included in a future update. For now, you can use your browser's default download management screen by clicking the Manage Downloads button in the bottom-right part of the UI Window Setup screen or you can try using another downloader. You can also always stop and cancel any current downloads in Downloadyze by clicking the Stop button in the UI Window. Thank you for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience.

Crawling Multiple Pages

Downloadyze is set up to cover most practical use-cases to download multiple pages, but it is not a URL Crawler. If you need to download multiple pages that are not linked together in a meaningful way (via a next link, incrementable sequence, or a button click), or if the pages are on different "levels" or directories, then you'll need to use a URL Crawler first (such as Scrapy or something similar) to grab the list of pages (URLs) that you want to download. You can then feed that list of URLs to Downloadyze using its "URL List" action.
