This page contains sample code, documentation, and unit test results for the DotSpatial.Data library. This library was derived from the MapWindow6 application, but is currently being updated and supported by the entire .Net open source community that is part of OSGeo and many other projects.  The Data library specializes in providing access tools for editing, opening and working with Shapefiles, images and various raster formats.  This library is extended by the DotSpatial.Data.Rasters.GdalExtension library.  The extension is loaded dynamically as long as your application has an AppManager component added to it.
